How we support students with learning differences

WIN Group - What I Need: students work in small groups during their technology class time for extra help completing assignments, as well as some remedial assistance. Program is mainly in our 7th and 8th grade, but is being expanded into 3rd through 6th. IU 20 provides reading remediation to students beginning in Kindergarten based on a set criteria. In addition, teachers differentiate by using reading groups and small group instruction time. Students with learning disabilities are given opportunities to take tests in a small group environment. Kindergarten and PreK4 have a full-time designated aide for each classroom.
