About Our School

As a community of clergy, families, and educators, we endeavor to meet the challenge of living the faith as modeled by Jesus, through worship, message, and service. We recognize that Christian education is a lifelong process, and we share a ministry that encourages the child's total development. We strive to be caring individuals, who nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical, and psychological well-being of our students.

  • When your child comes to OLPH they will be part of a supportive classroom:
    • Each class K-4 has a teacher and an academic aid. This allows us to provide necessary one-on-one attention to students that require it.
    • Technology devices like Ipads and Chromebooks help prepare students for our modern and digitally-connected world as well as support online course content.
    • Traditional communication skills, such as handwriting and live discussions are part of our curriculum.
  • We have a great deal of pride in our facilities:
    • The location is a beautiful 14-acre campus in Bethlehem Township, Pennsylvania.
    • The buildings have an up-to-date card access system that makes our campus safe and secure.
    • The facilities include a cafeteria, library, technology lab, gymnasium, and spacious outdoor areas for sports and recreation.
  • Our tuition is an affordable flat rate for all students, whether or not you are part of our parish. There are numerous scholarship opportunities as well.

Athletics

Our Lady's Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) teams provide a variety of athletic programs at the elementary level including soccer, cross country, track and field, basketball, and volleyball. Additionally, Our Lady's middle and upper-grade students may participate in softball, volleyball, basketball, and football through our high school feeder programs: Little Hawks (Bethlehem Catholic High School) and Little Crusaders (Notre Dame High School). Also available through the high schools are cheerleading and wrestling programs.

How we support students with learning differences

The academic support team at Our Lady consists of two components. There is a full-time support teacher on staff for grades 1-4. In addition, where possible, we provide additional academic support to students in grades 5-8. The second component is a teacher provided through IU Act 89/Title I programs. Both the in-house program and the IU program are designed to provide additional support where needed in reading and math to aid students in achieving their full potential.
