How we support students with learning differences

Nativity has a part-time Special Education professional who develops all learning plans for students based on an IEP or 504 plan. The Special Ed coordinator also develops new learning plans and coordinates testing for students who need to be evaluated. A full-time Resource Teacher supplies learning support to students with learning plans in a specially designated room.

How we support students with college and career counseling

Nativity has a full-time Guidance Counselor who focuses on College and Career Counseling. College Fairs are held twice a year and colleges also come in to meet with students periodically. The ASVAB test is given in the Fall and all branches of the military have access to meet with the students.

The counselor works with local community resources for career counseling. The Nativity administration works directly with the Guidance Counselor in preparing students for their future endeavors. The Guidance Counselor in conjunction with school administration enables access to all possible scholarship opportunities for all students to further their post-secondary education.
