PK3 to Grade 8
Following the Blessed Mother's example of care and compassion, and our motto of Love, Learning, and Leadership, Immaculate Conception Academy provides a faith-filled, family-centered environment, where responsible leadership and charitable service are modeled and encouraged. In a secure setting, we build a strong foundation of faith, through excellence in education and mutual respect for all God's Children.
We provide competitive programs with well-rounded offerings to educate the whole person. The core curriculum is in alignment with state and national standards and is rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition. In addition to the core curriculum, students participate in enrichment courses.
Here at ICA, we are proud to be a Middle States accredited school. We offer a wide range of classes and clubs to our students, including weekly Spanish language classes, music, art, gym and library. In addition, we have elective clubs for K-8th grade students that focus on STEAM curriculum. Gaming, building, lab experiments, art, mathematics, drama and other options are available to our Knights. Students can pick new elective clubs each trimester based on their personal interests. This allows them to explore different STEAM topics and find what they're passionate about. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded education that meets the needs of every student.
ICA has two Resource rooms staffed to assist our Knights during their time at the Academy. We work with reading specialists from the BCIU as well as other resources from our students' school districts. Our primary focus is to support our students in our education curriculum, so they can be successful in their classes. We also work to provide accommodations for our students. In addition, we offer enrichment opportunities for our students. We are here to help every student succeed!
Athletics & Extra-Curricular Activities
ICA students are eligible to participate in Immaculate Conception Parish CYO activities. In years past they have offered Cross Country, Basketball, Track and Field, and Kitchen Kapers. Our students also participate in several programs offered by Berks Catholic Youth Sports.
