Following in the footsteps of Jesus, the Good Shepherd, we lead our students in the rich traditions of hard work, responsibility and faith in God and family. We instill in our students a profound love of learning, guiding them as they grow into compassionate, respectful leaders for tomorrow. The Academic Program

We provide competitive programs with well-rounded offerings to educate the whole person. The core curriculum is in alignment with state and national standards and is rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition.  In addition to the core curriculum, students participate in enrichment opportunities.

  • Weekly art and music classes for all students K-8
  • Drama Club performs two drama shows during the school year. One show for grades K – 3, and one show for grades 4-8.
  • We offer band for students in grades 4-8
  • Performing Arts Group for grades K-8 performs the National Anthem at Iron Pigs games, Phantoms games, and sings for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Northampton every year, among other events
  • Our student choir for grades 3-8 sings during school mass every Friday morning.
  • Spanish K-8
  • Students are 1-to-1 with Chromebooks and have technology class every week in grades K-8.
  • Beginning in 2022-23 school year, all students will have STEM classes in our newly renovated STEM Lab.
  • Physical Education PK-8
  • Library weekly K-3

Athletics

After school intramural sports for grades 6-8. CYO sports for K-8.


How we support students with learning differences

Remedial math and reading are provided through a full-time IU20 teacher in our building for grades K-5. A Resource Room will be open in Fall of 2022 and will service students in grades K-8.
